Age: 2-6 (with adult assistance) 6+ (solo)
This great little craft can be done with kids of most ages. Even if your kids don’t have cutting or gluing skills yet – this is one they can still be involved in.
Materials:
Paper
Pens or Pencils
Scissors
Glue
Paper plate with centre cut out or cardboard cut to be shaped like a donut around 25 cm high (could be from a cereal box or similar)
You will need 12-15 decorated eggs.
- Draw 12-15 egg shapes on 1-2 pieces of paper. Eggs should be around 8cm high and 5cm wide.
- Colour in and decorate each egg. Let your kids use their creativity and things they have at their disposal. (Glitter, crayons etc.)
3. Cut out the eggs.
4. Glue onto the donut shaped card. Start with pasting 6 eggs evenly spaced. Then glue the remaining eggs in the gaps. (I used an old cereal box to make the donut)
5. Punch a hole and hang with a ribbon or string.
